Our small class achieves step-by-step learning with the EDIP (Explain, Demonstrate, Imitate, Practice) method.
We believe the best way to learn is at your own pace, feeling happy with your progress. Practice is the key to success.
Lotus Tai Chi's goal is teaching with kindness and patience Tai Chi & Qigong helping you to improve your wellness.
This practice is aimed at adults and seniors.
What do I spect in the first class?
Relax, and imitate the movements as best you can. Soon, you will be amazed at your progress.
Always remember, that the best way to learn is at your own pace.
Making mistakes is part of the learning process, being kind to yourself will make you grow.
Listen to your body, hydrate, and take regular breaks, do not overwork.
With continued practice, you will improved relaxation, concentration, elasticity, coordination and happiness. And finally put always a smile on your heart :)
What I need for my first class?
Loose comfy clothes and socks. The Waiver form printed and signed (from the registration form). A bottle of water.
How are the classes?
The class starts at a designated time, sharp. You should be at least 5 min before class start to take off your shoes and place it on the front shelf. Inside the Dojo we will ware socks. Bring a bottle of water every class and your beautiful smile:)
What I'm going to learn and practice?
•Tai Chi: BaFa WuBu, 8 Steps, 24 Steps.
•Fan Yang Style: The Radiant Lotus & Fan 18 Yang Style
•Tai Chi - Qigong Stick: Taiji Yangsheng Zhang.
•Qigong: Daoyin Yangsheng Gong of the Dragon The 5 Animals frolics Wu Qin Xi, 18 form, Ming Mu Gong, 5 Elements.

Bow in when entering and exiting the Dojo. If you arrive late, you must wait for the next water break. When the class is already in session can't be interrupted. Wait for the instructor let you in.
Remember we have only ten spaces in each class, reserve your spot with time.
*Recommendation:
Wear loose breathable and appropriate Clothing, natural fabrics are ideal, this is to facilitate energy flow and blood circulation. Clothing should not put pressure on the joints or other parts of the body, also allowing greater body mobility. Wash your face and hands, evacuate your bowels. Do not eat or drink alcohol before practice. Remove accessories such as watches, jewelry, glasses, etc.

Thursdays 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

Schedules Change till World Tai Chi Day
The annual Challenge consists of learning 2 new routines to be performed on the next World Tai Chi Day on April 26Th 2025. This year the routines are: Fan 18 Yang Style & Daoyin Yangsheng Gong of the Dragon
Challenge 2025 : 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
Class requirements: Loose pants, Lotus T-Shirt, socks, battle of water.
• Tai Chi for Beginners: 12:00 am - 12:45 pm
Tai Chi fundamentals & principles. 12 classes and if you want to continue you will continue with the team classes.
Class requirements: Loose pants, Lotus T-Shirt, socks, battle of water and the Tai Chi Stick.
Classes are at Om Loka Yoga Studio.
